چکیده
irrigular land use, land degradation and increasing yield per surface area unit supplicate to be inevitable optimal land utilization.so land evaluation, planning and management to be necessary to achieve a sustainabledevelopment.following this trend, microleis (mediterranean land evaluation information system)has evolved towards an agro-ecological decision support system.the goal of this study is land planning of some parts of khajehregion. soil morphological and analytical data were carried out for 26 land units.then, bioclimatic deficiency, land capability and qualitative land suitability (for sunflower, maize and melon) and forest or paeture were determinedusing microlese models. based on terraza model, rainfed cultivation is possible with less than 20% yield reduction for all crops except maize.based on cervatana model 9 land units (27.8 of total area) of were categorizedas s3 and n and 17 land units (72.2 of total area) were classified as s1 and s2.land suitability evaluation of susceptible lands using almagra model revealed that 18.1, 39.9, and 13.2 can take place in moderately suitable (s3), suitable (s2) and excellent (s1)respectively.results of applying sierra model, were obtained any forest species communities suitable for the study area.therefore, withinthe framework of the land evaluation decision supportsystem microleis, a data processing tool (sierra 2 model)was developed for evaluating the relative suitability speciesand 5 species is suitable for this land units. finally, microleis dss appears to be useful in semi-arid regions, for example khajeh, to formulate sustainable agricultural systems.

Wither Agricultural DSS?
Agricultural decision support systems (DSS) may be argued to have passed sequentially through phases of unbelief, euphoria and disappointment and to be passing into either a phase of maturity with realistic expectations of the technology or to abandonment. This paper proposes that agricultural DSS in their widest sense still have a significant role to play in shaping land use and management to ...
متن کاملSpeculation in Agricultural Land
Agricultural land prices in many developed countries rose and then fell dramatically over a relatively short period of time in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Most of the models in the literature that describe the dynamic behaviour of agricultural land prices suggest that these sharp price movements were not completely due to market fundamentals. Many attribute part of this price volatility to ...

متن کاملEcological and economic modelling in agricultural land use scenarios
Agricultural production and its associated land use comprise the most important key factor regarding biodiversity and environmental impact within the wider countryside in Denmark. Currently, a number of land use changes are implemented in environmental action plans, such as afforestation, restoring wetlands and protection of drinking water catchments. Growing attention is put on the potential o...
